In 1992, the Philippine government legalized the manufacture, sale, and use of fireworks in the country.  Dragon Fireworks Incorporated became the first ever fireworks company to be given a license to manufacture and cater to the demands of the domestic market.  Dragon Fireworks Incorporated came about as a response to the clamor for safe, quality fireworks in the Philippines.  Staying true to its corporate vision of "Safe, Quality Fireworks is Our Commitment", it has grown to become the largest and most modern fireworks manufacturing facility in the Philippines, as well as one of the largest in Southeast Asia.  From its initial modest product line, it now manufactures the widest array of fireworks in the Philippines.

Dragon Fireworks manufactures consumer fireworks such as fountains, sparklers, firecrackers, rockets, aerial shells, small and large caliber cakes, confetti, saxons, wheels, and whistles, as well as professional display items such as large caliber shells, comets, and gerbs, which are sold to other professional display operators all over the Philippines.  The company also services professional indoor and outdoor fireworks display requirements, as well as other special effects, laser, and multimedia applications.  Its distribution channel, considered the widest in the country, makes Dragon Fireworks' products available in all of the major islands of the Philippine archipelago.

Dragon Fireworks has started exporting its products abroad, and is hopeful of becoming a major player in the world market.

Dragon Fireworks and its group won the 1st Philippine National Fireworks Display Competition.  The company is also the most awarded fireworks company in the Philippines, having won many of the most prestigious Philippine national awards, such as the PNP-CSG Pyrotechnic Manufacturer of the Year Award, the National Shoppers' Choice Award, the Parangal ng Bayan National Excellence Award for Product Quality, the People's Choice Awards, and the Philippine Web Awards.
